Top-Model Miranda Kerr joined Nadja Swarovski, Member of the Executive Board, Swarovski Crystal Business, today as the famous Swarovski Star was raised to the top of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

"We are delighted that the Swarovski Star has become a centerpiece of the Christmas season in New York City. This year is especially significant for Swarovski as the company celebrates its 120th anniversary and we are thrilled that we continue to play a role in this holiday tradition." is the official statement of Swarovski.

Michael Hammers, the proud creator of this spectacular piece of crystal-art adds "120 years Swarovski, 12 years The Swarovski Star - what a magic coincidence!".

 

 

The 2015 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, December 2, with live performances from 7–9pm, at Rockefeller Plaza, between West 48th and West 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Tens of thousands will crowd the sidewalks for the event and hundreds of millions will watch it live across the globe. The Tree will remain lit and can be viewed until 8pm on January 6, 2016.

 

Swarovski is offering a selection of holiday jewelry and ornaments for purchase at the Swarovski holiday kiosk at Rockefeller Center. The collection includes  the 2015 Annual Edition Ornament inspired by the design of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree Star.
